Hi, sorry I don't if this is the proper way to do this, but I would like to put in a request for this feature. To be able to save screenshots as lighter , compressed images, preferably in the .jpg format. I really love this program, use it all the time, please tell me how I can donate to support its development.

you should try to just change the extension in the snapshot save path (/template) to get some jpg format

Hi, do you mean here?

I'm not sure how. The window itself doesn't have the "choose format" option:

I tried adding ".jpg" as the end of the path but that doesn't do anything - files still saved as .png. Looked in the ini file but it's the same as the GUI options.

oups. This feature may be part of the feature I've implemented in my fork https://github.com/pubpub-zz/ppInk that my not be avaiable in original gInk. Try it and maybe you may like it
