There is an old pull request to replace @lazy which might be all that's needed?

Ok, so I tested in TYPO3 10 and unfortunately the news detail page is giving the error:
Could not get value of property "GeorgRinger\News\Domain\Model\NewsDefault::txNewsfeuserUser", make sure the property is either public or has a getter getTxNewsfeuserUser(), a hasser hasTxNewsfeuserUser() or an isser isTxNewsfeuserUser()
