Release Notes - v3.1.5.2b2

🎉 Improvements and New Features

  1. When the password is used to authenticate the Apple Account, Apple sends an email to the account owner that a login/authentication was done. An entry has been added to the Event Log when iCloud3 doe this. The authentication date/time (PST) in the Event Log message is, hopefully, the same as on the email.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  1. When iCloud3 started and was setting up the tracked devices, if the Mobile App device parameter was set to 'ScanFor' a device and that device was not found in the list of Mobile App devices, an error was aborting the setup process. This resulted in no Apple account or Mobile App devices being set up correctly. This has been fixed.
  2. Fixed several problems handling the Mobile App device when 'ScanFor:' was selected for a device on the Update iCloud3 Device screen.
  3. Fixed issues dealing with authenticating Apple Accounts in China where the '.cn' url suffix was not being set properly in all cases.

Hi Gary, How are you? Just updated from HACs and noticed this error preventing icloud3 from start:

I missed the last file (zone) when building the release. Just rebuilt it. Do a refresh and see if it works now.

Thanks for the info.

Edit: Sometimes GitHub will still point to the old release when I do not update the release number and it would still be missing. So it might work. Or not.

It shows you have updated it like 8 minutes ago. I redownloaded it and restarted, but it is still showing the same error.

Should I redownload it and restart or you need to change de build number?

  1. The changes above in b2, b3 & b4
  2. The Apple Account username is now obscured in the iCloud3 log files.
  3. Fixed a problem displaying all of the Apple Accounts when multiple Apple Accounts were set up. Only the first one was displayed when the first one was not logged into.
  4. Messages will not be send to the phone when an Internet Connection error was detected. It was hammering some phones constantly with online/offline if it was losing and then reestablishing the connection in a short period of time.

Unzip into the custom_components/icloud3 directory and restart HA.

Edit: iCloud3 v3.1.5.2b5 was deleted. There was a bug saving the MobApp Data Source on Configure > Apple Accounts & Mobile App screen
