In Quake the restart command should always start over the current level or map but in FTE QuakeWorld the restart command loads the last loaded sav file if the game was loaded from a sav file.

Please correct the restart command of FTE QuakeWorld both client and engine to do what it does in all other Quake clients and engine like dos quake, WinQuake, glQuake and etc.

This is by design, as the restart command is why the 'Lost Runes' bug exists in Vanilla Quake.

If you want to have a 'vanilla' accurate restart, try this:

alias restart "map_restart initial"
