Summary

The modes work surprisingly well—maybe even too well. After switching to Fedora, they continue to function without issues. I installed acer-wmi-battery on my laptop, probably six months after purchasing it, while using Ubuntu. After a total of one and a half years of use, my battery's capacity dropped to 63%.

I don't put full responsibility only on acer-wmi-battery, because the battery manufacturer is definitely responsible here.

  • Operating Systems: Ubuntu 22.04 → Fedora 41
  • Kernel Version: ~6.12.6
