Allow more CPU Cores

This is beautiful! I'm trying to modify the lua code to allow for my 8-core system. I've gotten this far:

But I'm assuming I'll also need to change everything between that block of code and the --PROCESSES block, so the geometry will get a little confusing. Could you please share any pointers you may have?
