I'm referring to this icon in the corner.
Screenshot from 2023-06-01 22-18-22

Expectation: The icon exists if and only if Show Tiling Quick Settings is on.

Reality: The icon always exists if Show Tiling Quick Settings is on, as expected. It disappears if Show Tiling Quick Settings is manually turned off, but reappears when gnome-shell is restarted.

This bug only applies to the icon; the content of the quick settings menu behaves as expected.
