Is there any chance you would support jp2 files in the future?

Oops, it was an oversight on my part to not allow "jp2" as a supported extension. I can fix that pretty quickly.

DarkThumbs relies on Windows WIC to perform the actual image decoding. So you'd need to have a "WIC Codec" installed to handle JPEG2000 images. I'm not aware of one off-hand.

Regarding "WIC Codec", it is not available on Micrpsoft's web site. I downloaded "wic_x64_enu.exe" from a legimit web site but it desn't install on Windows 11.

I did stumble across this codec. Darkthumbs still needs to be updated for jp2 though.

Maybe when you setup a Windows 11 computer, you could also check the updated (for jp2) Darkthumbs then?
