Null Pointer Exception Error

I am getting a null pointer exception error when I run this plugin. I am a biologist by training, but of course working on learning new tricks! I am just trying to test this on one open image to start. My reading on null pointer exception errors is that I need to take some extra step to allow the plugin to recognize the object, but I am just not sure what. Thank you in advance for considering!

Which plugin exactly are you talking about? Could you please share the steps to reproduce the issue?

The plugin I installed was "Select_Bounding_Box.java". I am fairly new to auto-crop though, and realized that there is a separate plugin under the "Image" tab, then under "adjust" for auto-cropping, which worked great for me. Pardon me for the hassle.

Ah, so I can only guess that you got here via this site: https://imagej.net/Auto_Crop ?
As you found out, the "Auto Crop" plugin is included within Fiji, and there's no need to install it manually.

If the issue is solved for you, please close it here on github. If there are issues remaining, feel free to post the stack trace (i.e. the exact error output you got) and a recipe how to reproduce the error (i.e. exactly what steps you took, where you clicked etc.).
