Types of permits include CITES and other permits for Endangered Species Acts in general. Collecting Permits, Controlled Substances Permits. Any permit that last for a length of time, shows the legal provenance of a Field Museum Object or Specimen, proves the legal right to hold and ship an Object or specimen.
Types of permits not included are anything of a transient nature (3-177 transportation permits for example)
Managing a permit record is the responsibility of the person who requested it unless otherwise noted. In those cases where another person is responsible for maintaining a permit, that person is included on the Task Tab of that permits record along with any actions and dates associated with permit maintenance.
How to set up a non-exclusive license
Copy conditions of license into Conditions field, and
Attach Multimedia record for scan/PDF of the signed license
