Client-side scaling of candidate window under XWayland

I believe it's a common practice to disable scaling on XWayland and turn to scaling of the application itself (e.g. GDK_SCALE for chromium). But the input method often keep the original size, leading to a relatively small size of the candidate window. Could we have a way to scale it similarly?
