Flagged when employees (users of eprints) of an institution with umlauts was trying to connect / sync their orcid information.

Double encoding issue.

  • UTF8 encoded files will be double encoded, line 205 and 208 of lib/plugins/EPrints/ORCID/AdvanceUtils.pm
  • This happens when the file is encoded as utf8 cfg/cfg.d/z_orcid_support_advance.pl
