I need to design a setup with spatially dependent fields, and particle densities. I read the documentation and looked into the examples. I have two important clarifications to seek.

  1. For initialising the fields, documentation says the instance should be init_fields but in examples, it shown to be init_flds. Which one is supposed to be the case? Are the examples and documentation in sync or things have changed between versions?
  2. arch::Maxwellian is just a non-relativistic Maxwellian or Maxwell-Jüttner?

@Tissot11 somehow missed this... i apologize

  1. you can see any other pgen. it's actually init_flds. was a typo in wiki which will be fixed.
  2. the class you mention generates arbitrary temperature Maxwellian. i.e., it supports both relativistic and non-relativistic.
