Steps to reproduce

Where are you starting? What can you see?

Home within the Element Desktop App.

What do you click?

The + next to Rooms on the left hand sidebar.
Click Explore public rooms
Click Show: Matrix rooms (homeserver uri)
Select libra.chat
Search for elixir
Click Join next to the #elixir room
Receive error

Outcome

What did you expect?

To join the room

What happened instead?

I received the error

Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS x86_64

Application version

Element version: 1.11.25 Olm version: 3.2.12

The elixir room lacks a canonical_alias in the API which causes this issue

Duplicate of #23937
