Disable the search for some users?

If you access it from Chrome, at the top right there are two options: one for search and another for the assistant.

If you access it via a mobile device, at the top right there are three dots where both options are located.

I wanted to know if these can be hidden in some way for a specific user.

Hi @Jarohe,
Those elements are not related in any way to the sidebar. You should use kiosk-mode for that.
