Describe the bug:
This banner appears at the top: "Help us improve the Elastic Stack- Want to help us improve the Elastic Stack? Data usage collection is currently disabled. Enabling data usage collection helps us manage and improve our products and services. See our Privacy Statement for more details."

When you click on "Enable" or "Disable", an error message is displayed that contains the following text, and the next time you load the page, the banner is back.

  1. Upgrade stack from 7.7.0 to 7.9.0
  2. Open browser and visit Kibana.

Thank you @Infinality for sharing this bug.

I think it's related to #75637 and it should already be fixed on our next release 7.9.1.

Yes, it is fixed on two different systems that I updated. Thank you!

This is still happening for me in 7.9.2

It is fixed. Now I have 7.9.3 and it is also fine. Thank you!
