Scripted fields are currently space-bound. Therefore, whenever someone creates new space, he or she must export/import them to keep using them. This is already painful, but even more unpleasant is to update complex scripted field in 17 spaces people created…
It would be nice if some scripted field could be shared between spaces somehow. Mayhaps some „space groups” (sharing also index patterns in general)? Mayhaps explicit „inherit from another space”? Mayhaps just „global” scripted fields defined for all spaces using given index?
