Describe the feature:
With data tables (aggregation based > data tables AND lens > data tables), provide an option to include row numbers so it looks like an Excel spreadsheet.

An example with lens and using sample data.

  • kibana > visualize library > create visualization > Lens
  • index - kibana sample data ecommerce
  • pick table
  • create a table by dragging fields - category.keyword and category_gender

Describe a specific use case for the feature:
When printing out a report, it is nice to reference a row number rather than column values when reviewing the table.
