Question:

  • Installed 10k agents using Horde.
  • Add invalid agent binary so that the agent upgrade fails.
  • Upgrade the available 10k agents and observe all the agents failed.
  • Observe under Agent activity below error:
    1

However for few agents if agent upgrade fails we get below error which is expected under #141206:

Could you please confirm the behaviour of this error under Agent activity for 10k agents?

I think the difference is that in the first case the action status is ROLLOUT_PASSED, and currently we only display error details for FAILED status. We can convert this an enhancement issue and enable error display for ROLLOUT_PASSED status too. cc @kpollich
