Kibana version: 8.4.1

Describe the bug:

In the dataview I have selected @timestamp as the default date value.
I create a visualisation in Lens using the reported_at datefield instead.
I add a drilldown to open in discover.
This never gives me the opportunity to open in Discover, since Discover is limited to the default dataview timefield, in my case @timestamp and not reported_at.

Expected behavior:

I would expect some sort of visual confirmation when adding the drilldown that it tells me no not going to work, you need the default data view timefield.

Screenshots (if relevant):
Hopefully the video explains it all well enough.

We can get rid of the whole problem case by allowing the navigation the Discover by creating an ad-hoc data view on the fly, switching out the default time field so Discover applies the right filters.

@flash1293 just for clarification, would the dataview be "gone" in the moment I leave Discover? Otherwise we might end up with a ton of data views in the saved objects that just "clutter" everything.

Yes, exactly. It's only stored in the browser memory.
