Whether your Pi-hole is disabled for a few seconds or permanently disabled, the metric pihole_status always returns 1. Is this expected? I can't imagine so.

Running on CentOS/RHEL 7.

tested on my instance and everything works fine:
Pi-hole enabled:

pihole_status{hostname="..."} 1

Pi-hole disabled:

pihole_status{hostname="..."} 0
