Thanks! Because zotxt doesn't have a UI, this looks like it will be less painful than the upgrade from Zotero 5. 🤞

Is there any update on this? I am using Hookmark, and it relies on zotxt, as discussed below:

I have a branch for this. It doesn't look too hard, but there are a few issues with getting it started up properly.

I also depend on this plugin to automatically generate documentation. Any update?

Is there a timeline for when zotero 7 will be released? The last time I tried it out there were some issues that seemed unrelated to zotxt that were blocking the upgrade (but I can't recall exactly).

There's no release date per se, but I already use v7 beta 58. It works ok, although there are some minor issues. I've tried to use zotxt with it and keep getting the error:

GET /zotxt/search?method=titleCreatorYear&format=betterbibtexkey&q=Advance HTTP/1.1
Accept-Encoding: identity
Host: 127.0.0.1:23119
User-Agent: Python-urllib/3.11

X-Zotero-Version: 7.0.0-beta.58+2665090aa

No endpoint found

I've tried to reinstall the plugin and ask for its version (/zotxt/version) but no luck.

Hi @egh, Zotero 7 is now released - have you had a chance to look at this? For me the current zotxt release doesn't work with Zotero 7 and zotxt-emacs, although I did no debugging on my side atm, just upgraded to Zotero 7. So if it works for others, it could also be some other part of my pipeline that is at fault :)

I just tested fetching some items using pandoc-zotxt.lua. I didn't do any in-depth testing, but at first sight, everything seems to work fine 😄. I’ll keep you posted if I run into problems. Thanks for the update!

Excellent! I think I can consider that good enough to mark it as a real release. Thank you for testing.
