More consistency with sizing requirements?

We have a number of logos which significantly exceed the safe circle. For example, Google Colab, OpenBenches (which has other issues), most of the browsers, and OpenCollective. Should we fix these? Is keeping logos within guidelines a long-term issue that needs addressed? Or is it not terribly important for most use cases, in which case perhaps the guidelines should be revised?
