ChanneldUE Code of Conduct

The ChanneldUE project is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive community for all contributors, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs. We expect all members of the ChanneldUE community to adhere to the following code of conduct:

1. Be respectful and considerate

We expect all members of the community to treat each other with respect and consideration, and to avoid any behavior or language that is demeaning, discriminatory, or offensive. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Discrimination on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or any other characteristic.
  • Harassment, intimidation, or bullying of any kind.
  • Hate speech or discriminatory language.

2. Be collaborative and constructive

We encourage all members of the community to work together in a collaborative and constructive manner, and to contribute to the project in positive and productive ways. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Helping others to learn and grow.
  • Contributing code, documentation, or other resources to the project.

3. Be accountable and transparent

We expect all members of the community to be accountable for their actions and to act in a transparent and honest manner. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Taking responsibility for mistakes or errors.
  • Being open and transparent about your actions and intentions.
  • Avoiding conflicts of interest or other unethical behavior.

Reporting violations

If you observe or experience any behavior that violates this code of conduct, please report it to the project maintainers or to GitHub support. All reports will be taken seriously and will be investigated promptly and impartially.

If you are unsure whether a particular behavior or action violates this code of conduct, please err on the side of caution and seek guidance from the project maintainers or from other members of the community.

Consequences for violations

Any member of the ChanneldUE community who violates this code of conduct may be subject to consequences, including but not limited to:

  • Verbal or written warning from the project maintainers.
  • Temporary or permanent ban from the project or community.
  • Referral to GitHub or other appropriate authorities for further action.

The specific consequences for a given violation will be determined by the project maintainers based on the severity and nature of the violation, and in consultation with the affected parties as appropriate.
