How to apply a parameter to named placeholder

I've tried to apply a named placeholder by typescript.

Converting prepared statement is success.
But It makes no sense how to pass a parameter value.

const stmt = await conn.prepare("select * from T where x = $x")
const results = await stmt.query(????) // <----

I've tried to pass a Javascript Object.

const results = await stmt.query({ x: 'foo' }) 

But a error occured.

Error: Invalid column type encountered for argument 0
