Add a sensor indicator to show if it is using a type of rule.

The icon should have four states:

Not show:
Does not have a rule
Icon:
Has at least a rule and the sensor is working properly
Icon + Not / Icon grayed out:
Has at least a rule but the sensor is closed. For example, GPS turned off
Icon + '!' / Icon red:
Error. For example, does not have the corresponding permission(s)
