Operating System: Windows 10
Emudeck version: 2.3.7
Steam Rom Manager version: 2.5.29
Which SteamOS Branch are you using?
Not Using a Steam Deck
What happened?
I'm not entirely sure if this is an issue with emudeck itself or steam rom manager, but I think it's emudeck's default SRM configuration at fault.
Expected behavior: After installing SRM through Emudeck, I should see the full list of default parsers including NES, SNES, N64, etc. Additionally, those parsers should create targets that launch the game in steam.
Actual behavior: While many parsers are included out of the gate, it's missing quite a few, most notably from the nintendo category:
The parsers can be manually creating using the community presets in SRM:
However the resulting non-steam game does not actually launch the game, instead merely opening cmd.exe and then doing nothing:
Attempted fixes:
Reinstalling SRM through emudeck
Fully uninstalling and reinstalling SRM through emudeck
Resetting the SRM configuration through emudeck
Removing the cache through emudeck
This appears to be the same issue as #1382, but his fix of simply rerolling the config over and over is not working for me. At any rate, playing roulette with the config doesn't seem like a real fix for the issue.
