Investigate custom auth state casting exception

Description

dotnet/aspnetcore#30971 was closed as a won't fix, so investigate if the AuthenticationStateProvider service section requires a reaction to the scenario.

cc: @hemant149 ... I'll take a look as soon as I can, but it might take me a week or two to reach this.

Checked on this. The product unit closed it without comment, so they're not supporting the scenario ... or they think the workaround is acceptable. They didn't call for coverage, so I'll close here.
