This could be something simple I am missing, but I can successfully load a basemap image into my project and work with it (in this case Google). However, whenever I save the project, exit Blender, and open Blender and reload the project file at a later time, the image map is gone, and Blender just shows a pink box (as if an image/texture is missing).
Is there a simple way to solve this or get the map image back?
How to Reproduce
Import base map into blender project, save project, close blender, open blender and load project
Error message
None

is the porject is not saved then texture map image is downloaded in a temporary folder. A simple fix is to save the project before loading a basemap, then the texture will be saved in the same folder.
Blender and OS versions
Blender 3.3.5, Windows 10
