The proposal to add a Cut function: golang/go#46336
A CL that should contain a good source of patterns to look for: https://go-review.googlesource.com/c/go/+/322210/

This might need to be a quickfix instead, if we can't avoid false positives. I won't be able to tell until after I've implemented the check.
