What about next version of OSX 10.10

Depends on Apple updating/patching those Kext's, if they do, you'll have to re-use the tool.

v.1.0.2 now backs up the freshly patched drivers. In case Yosemite disables the patching methods in a future update, you may try :

1. Try to apply the latest version of the tool. If this doesn't work:

Yes you can.
Running Continuity Activation v.1.0.2, when you already applied a v.1.0.0 or v.1.0.1 patch, will do this:
• You will get a backup of your currently active drivers in the /Users/(username)/KextsBackupBeforePatch directory
• The Wi-Fi driver will receive a new patch that decreases chances that Continuity fails after reboot
• You will get a backup of your freshly patched drivers as well, in a separate directory _/Users/(username)/KextsBackupAfterPatch

FYI : a redditor has confirmed that you need to re-apply the activation with the tool when upgrading to Yosemite 10.10.1 pre-release. The good news is that it works. Remember to always get the latest version of the tool when re-applying the activation.

To summarize:
With CAT's design, there are good news and bad news. The bad news is that anytime Apple updates the wireless drivers through an OS X upgrade, the tool will need to be re-applied. The good news is that you always benefit from the wireless enhancements and bugfixes by using the latest drivers.
This has been true so far with OS X 10.10.1 and 10.10.2. And in case a future OS X update blocks the CAT activation from completing, then just re-install your drivers backup, with a tool like Kext Drop.
