GPS <-> Arduino Nano

VCC    -> 5V (or 3V3 if your GPS is not 5V tolerant)
GND    -> GND
RX     -> D8
TX     -> D7

External voltage <-> Arduino Nano

Voltage Source -> A1 (be sure not to exceed the tolerance of the pins or use a voltage divider)
Add an optional 100nF capacitor between A1 and GND if the voltage appears to be unstable (possibly due to RF interference).
