it matters very little if you mistake a cello for a double bass or vice versa, unless you play one or something like that. but if you don't and you still can tell them apart? if you play no instruments and are not a musician. just interested in trivia like that. is that good? if you ever find yourself in one of them tv programmes where they ask about such trivia. then maybe you can win some money. but if you're not interested in such programmes? programs? tv shows? does it matter which word I use? whether I know where each comes from? the answer is, as always, depends.
