Hi Tim, thanks for suggesting this project.

I assume @GaretJax is aligned - we need to add him to django-commons before transferring the project.

Once he is added, schedule a short meeting with me and we will do the transfer: https://cal.com/daniel-moran/dc-meeting?month=2024-09

Hi @FlipperPA and @GaretJax -- Just checking in! Once we get an issue from @GaretJax to add them as a member, we can get started on moving django-click over to Django Commons. Excited to have django-click join!

Thanks @williln - I'm swamped this week with two conferences and selling my parents' old home, and last I heard, @GaretJax was in Pakistan. So it may be a little bit before he gets back to us! I'll shoot him an email letting him know about this thread. It was great seeing you last week - and THANKS!

Hi @FlipperPA and @GaretJax. We just wanted to check in and see if this was a project you still wanted to transfer into Django-Commons. Thanks!

Howdy @ryancheley - I think it is still a good idea, but @GaretJax has been traveling, last I heard. Let's keep this open, and if we don't hear back in a few months, I'll trying pinging him one more time.

I'm back in a region with some stable internet for a couple of weeks. Apologies for going MIA. Let me check on what is needed from my end.

@cunla my membership has been approved. What would the next step be to proceed with the transfer of the project?

Hi, nice to e-meet you. Schedule some time with me (https://cal.com/daniel-moran/dc-meeting) and let's do the transfer together.

We can probably do it asyncronically, but I also want to hear about your travels 😄

@GaretJax @cunla Thanks for getting this moving! I don't think there's anything I can do here, as I don't have access to move the repository. Please let me know if I can help at all.

Moving to Django Commons has been a real boon for drf-excel, the main package I maintain. 👍

@GaretJax prior to our meeting, please follow the pre-steps steps listed here.

Additionally, please add the Django Commons PyPI Admins (cunla, stormheg) as owners in PyPI, and test-pypi for django-click.
