The number of allowed values for the attribute type of the element bibl within the source description (http://deutschestextarchiv.de/doku/basisformat/mdSdBibl.html) is very small and may not be sufficient to deal with all types of documents that users want to encode in DTABf. (I.e. this problem arised in the context of slub/mets-mods2tei#36, @cthomasdta asked me to use only allowed values while converting METS/MODS to TEI/DTABf)
For example, handwritten manuscripts, letters, (scientific) posters, (administrative) files are not yet covered by the small number of allowed values. Or as @tboenig puts it
