CRDA Operator

Operator for Code Ready Dependency Analytics Plateform Deployment

This Operator will deploy necessary Services in CRDA Plateform for Online Flow.

Prerequisites:

• kubectl (v1.17+)
• minikube.
• kubectl context should be set to minikube.

  You can download kubectx for easy context, namespace switching.

• go version v1.13+.
• docker version 17.03+.
• kustomize v3.1.0+
• operator-sdk

Local Installation:

• Export AWS_KEY and AWS_SECRET in System Environment. Verify by: printenv | grep AWS.

One time setup

• You can modify preset config values at f8a_v1alpha1_codereadyanalytics.yaml that caters to your needs and then generate image for same.

CRDA Service Development

CRDA Service Development

• Create Namespace: kubectl create ns crda
• Run Operator: make crda

This should deploy all the custom resources (CR) in local cluster in crda namespace.

• Execute kubectl get all -n crda

You should see something similar to:

Production Installation via OLM :

• Install OLM on Server operator-sdk olm install
• Generate CSV operator-sdk generate csv --csv-version 0.1.0
• Install Operator operator-sdk run packagemanifests --operator-version 0.1.0 --olm

PS: All resources are deployed in crda namespace.
