Lost platforms

Contiki is a living thing. Platforms are added and removed. This is a list of platforms that once was in the tree but that was subsequently removed.

  • esb: this was a custom MSP430-based platform that was one of the early MSP430-based Contiki platforms and had a fairly substantial support in Contiki such as its own Cooja emulation platform. Removed after Contiki 2.7.
  • jcreate: this was a MSP430-based platform that was similar to the sky platform, but with a nice form factor and a plastic casing which made it easy to handle. Removed after Contiki 2.7.
  • msb430: a custom MSP430-based platform. Removed after Contiki 2.7.
  • pc-6001: one of the homecomputer platforms, based on the z80. Removed after Contiki 2.7.
  • redbee-dev and redbee-econotag: precursors to the econotag. Removed after Contiki 2.7.
  • sentilla-usb: a relative to the jcreate platform, a USB-device that had a MSP430 and a CC2420 radio. Removed after Contiki 2.7.
  • stepper-robot: an Arm-based platform with a custom built hardware. Removed after Contiki 2.7.
  • stk500 and stk501: AVR-based platforms. Removed after Contiki 2.7

The code for these platforms are still present in old releases and their code history can be traced using the Contiki git.
