Visualizer crashes on some examples #15

On Ubuntu 16.10 after installing some of the examples work fine but sometime the visualizer crashes immediately (i.e. opens and closes). There is no error message. For example,

  • ExampleContactPlayground
  • Rattleback

crash.

@chrisdembia FYI, I'm not sure why some of these examples fail and some don't. And am not sure if this is the conda install specific.

Do the same ones always crash? I think sometimes the visualizer can be finicky. This could be related to this issue: simbody/simbody#155

Yes it seems that the same ones always crash.
