Adding support to build a Windows EXE (ideally signed, as Cognite Extractors are) solves:

  • issues we see with support of poetry for Linux and Windows platforms at the same time
  • issues a Windows user might have, by the additional dependency to install Python (which is an issue on restricted environments)

added it to backlog as long as no real need for this exists, as it is some effort to add it
