It reappears when you zoom out one step. Youtube is layouted in a way that overlap is impossible there but the info starts disappearing early. You are using the space with three improvedtube buttons. You can remove one or have it up inside the player.
Of course this is not perfect

  If anyone will have ideas for our buttons a sketch/drawing might be easiest. You can also compare it with 'Youtube Enhancer', if you didnt

Thanks, I use 100% zoom on all my browsers that I saw this on, I'll have to double check when I have a chance. I also widened the window to around 3000px width but the info never appeared, just a large gap between the views and the buttons.

Ok, I checked, yes I'm at 100% zoom, different resolutions and scaling factors on multiple devices reproduce this behavior. Maximizing the window does sometimes fix it, and shrinking to 90% does sometimes work, but neither of these of course are fixes as forcing 90% zoom or fullscreen are not really solutions but rather workarounds and neither works in every case anyways.

I'd still consider it a bug with this having been said since implementation of it results in unintended consequence. As a user, I mind less when YouTube causes this issue and more when Improve YouTube causes it, for whatever that's worth.

A good approach might be to make the icons themselves take up less space or move them to their own field. The "limit page width" option might be shown together with the additional button options to help with this too since that also seems to help address the issue.

Hi, you make sense. i didn't consider all 3 buttons are currently active by default for new users.

• Date-bug: YouTube's layout also does this quirk for other languages too. On typical screens people from Vietnam already dont get it YouTube design not showing date on small notebooks (visualizações visualizzazioni просмотров) #543 . So for many of them youtube always was dateless. A social experiment, that nobody noticed maybe. So we could fix it for everybody somehow considering their viewport's size/language/buttons their.
  We could also display buttons differently for most users and not offer this position prominently unless sombody really wants thar)_

• This project could already be used by millions of more people if only we improve structure or combine/suggest the right features at the right time without disadvantages. if you consider to continue thinking about this, check STRUCTURE: Tooltips; extra Tags/keywords; Menu sections; Search; Documentation [PLEASE BRAINSTORM] #748,

• Buttons & position: (Please see the sketch in (<video> Player buttons to be added</video> #1445) or add one). (Also can compare with magic actions, youtube enhancer (or scroll zones of tweaks for youtube ) (anyone joining our team/group can edit all posts).

  • I think i like dense, pixel-efficient buttons/control panels/cockpits (only works when using a mouse)

    • "vs. visually it can be consequent/elegant now, to fit in the rules of youtube's give theme? i.e. submitting to
      • youtube's margin between buttons might feel the least obstrusive instead of expecting every user to visually like another control panel(/'mosaic/'patchwork) - So i can't say this way someone wished Player buttons #377 (comment) , was a good second option for button position to start with or not. We always offered extra buttons in the player bar above. ( So.. now 😃 title bar is just the first alternative position) (And every project is a work in progress.)

  • we should test visually more "radical/disruptive alternatives for everyone! (like growing youtube's dark player bar & menu below every yotube player. And including date & metrics there efficiently in dymanic contrast/color(optionally only appearing on mouse-over). we can bring this or anyhing by default (and see if the amount of new users changes at all who uninstall without doing anything. (Many people even would like a dark frame/shadow all arround the player. Which makes sense unless usijg dark mode already (Compare 'turn off the lights' (extension)) - just not everyone...💭)

Fixed in version 4.0-alpha.1. You can wait for the beta update in the Chrome Web Store or GitHub release.
