IB failures with many workflows

All crashing workflows seem to be FastSim-related. Shall we just exclude it ?

#35801 seems to work (at least for wf 2017.3), let's see if it solves all.
(N.B. I am not completely sure that's the fix we want, perhaps @JanFSchulte and @minxiyang can comment on the opportunity of using the DNN selection for fastSim)
