I can't do a whole lot for supporting changes in Maya since i no longer have a maya license but if all you need is just a recompile with updated until build settings to support newer PyCharm's i should be able to do that by the weekend.

I just forked this repo and modified some basic config files. Just recompilation works for me. ref: https://github.com/tybian/MayaCharm
