Right now the CC project page has a lot of information and isn't very visual. We have to create a new design and structure for it, so it would be easier for newcomers to understand our goals and to get them up to speed in terms of where the project is.
The first step is deciding what kind of branding we would like to use. It has to be fairly unobtrusive, yet also recognisable. I have created several versions, with different styles and font variations. The two main versions are: 1) minimalist and simplistic (a drawing of a globe + typography), 2) more detailed (a globe is being held in two hands). I mainly relied on the references given to me + some ideas I came up with.
You can see the designs below:
Afterwards, there is also some room for improvement on the layout of the project file design itself.
Some of the things which are important to implement:
A table of contents (for ease of navigation)
A quick way to report bugs/provide feedback
A small, concise overview of the project
(Possibly) Copyright information
I am going to start on working on a new version of the README.md (I will first do it locally on my device) and then I could share it here.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
Github Project Page Design
Climate Cooperative Figma Project (a unified project file with all design-related aspects of CC).
