With many important PRs for fixes and changes and less and less gets merged, does anyone still actively maintains this or perhaps more maintainers should be added to the repo?

@jugglinmike is doing an awesome jobs. But the number of PRs is still impressive yes.

It would be great to get some more maintainers, as nobody is really prioritising cheerio right now. Happy to onboard anyone that's interested!
