I don’t understand what you demand. Centreon’s ACL are already very fine… Resources are meant to be resources, that is, for example a host, but the action of reading or writing is… an action, Action is another kind of object you must use to achieve the permissions you want. Menus being another kind of object.
@StefThomas unfortunately no. If user have access in "Read/Write" mode to "Configuration > hosts", he can edit all host. The best is to limit the hosts he can see in this menu and don't access to hosts a can't edit.
Well, yeah… That was what I thought when speaking about "Resources". The hosts need to be separated in two groups, that will be two different resources. One user would have read access to the first resource/group and read/write access to the second one.
But OK. OP wants to be able to have the distinction read vs. read-write inside the same resource.
Guess there are some serious bugs on ACL which have to be fixed before to develop new features, like #7189…
