Steam overlay does not work (OptiScaler v0.7.0-pre66) #171
Comments
Hi, You might wanna try latest nightly from here: If you have problems with nightly (which wouldn't be suprising) you can check daily builds here: |
Tried it. Just caused the game to freeze at launch. Oh well. I just wanted to see my achievements lol. |
If you want to see the overlay, then you have to put |
This did work. Not sure if DLSS is working though. Lost options in optiscaler. |
People have been using Optiscaler 0.7.7 builds fine with FF7 Rebirth. The only thing that doesn't work is HUDFix with OptiFG as they seem to draw the HUD in their own specific way. |
it doesn't work when i have optiscaler + reshade, any suggestion? |
|
yes i've tried that 2 options.. but steam overlay still does not work :( |
Did you try from previous comments? - If you want to see the overlay, then you have to put |
Using OptiScaler v0.7.0-pre66, FF7 Rebirth with custom DLSS. This is the only version of the mod I've ever installed.
Loaded nvngx.ini (Steamapps > common > FF7 Rebirth > End > Binaries > Win64)
Search for the command in the previous closed issue:
; Enables blocking of Steam and Epic overlays
; true or false - Default (auto) is true
DisableOverlays=true
It did not exist in the ini file at all.
I tried manually adding it, and it still did not work.
I understand that using the steam overlay can cause crashes.
Otherwise, works great.
