Admin User's Guide

Derek Edwards edited this page Mar 27, 2018 · 19 revisions

This is the admin user's guide for 1-Click. This guide will walk you through all the configuration required to launch and manage 1-Click. This guide covers every single option on the Admin console including how to setup services, agencies, staff, and all the options available for each of those items.

This page is the top-level of the admin guide. Clicking on any of the links above will provide more in-depth detail about each topic.

Accommodations, Eligibilities, and Purposes

Accommodations, Eligibilities, and Purposes are the shared database of accommodations that services can provide (e.g., wheelchair accessibility), eligibilities that services can require (e.g., minimum age), and trip purposes that services support (e.g., medical trips, grocery trips, etc.)

Agencies

Agencies are placeholders for an organization. Agencies are useful for delegating the task of managing transportation service data. Since agencies can create and edit their own transportation services, admins can be relieved of managing all the transportation data by allowing agencies to manage their own data.

Alerts

1-Click can generate Alerts for system-wide announcements or targeted alerts for individual users.

Configuration

The Configuration page is where basic settings are controlled. These should rarely be adjusted. This settings include location of the OpenTripPlanner server, API keys, etc.

Feedback

The Feedback page is where customer feedback is received and replied to.

Geography

The Geography page is where shape files are uploaded for counties, cities, zips, and custom zones.

Landmarks

The Landmarks page is where custom geocoded locations are stored.

Reports

Admins and Partners have access to Reports that will display important system information in a graphical format as well as permit staff to download system data for offline reporting.

Services

The Service page is the most important page in the application. This is where all the individual services are created and managed. This includes paratransit, Uber, taxi, and transit services.

Staff and Travelers

The Staff and Travelers pages are were all system users are managed. This includes adding/removing roles, editing basic info, and setting passwords.

Translations

The Translations page is where all the translations and text shown on the Traveler UI are controlled.
