Dashboard link unavailable

I'm trying to follow the instructions to install 3.x and I get to the status page but when i click on dashboard it goes to a 404. There isn't any reference to dashboard in any of the files in the cachet directory. Am I missing something?

ah i didn't modify this - what should it be set to?

I get the status page but soon as i click on Dashboard is goes nowhere.

If you inspect the element, what's the URL showing? What does your Apache configuration look like? I imagine there's an issue with the rewrite settings here.
