It seems like the framework takes a very long time to initialise compared to the Android counterpart. I suspect this has to do with OpenSSL usages and key generations.

Performance audits should be done to identify what is causing it to be slow and then investigate what can be done about it.

This might actually have more to do with XCode debugger. It seems like running the app without the debugger it goes pretty quick.
