Approximate highest resolution of WebM VP8 files that can be played consistently as of December 25, 2016.

iPhone 4S - A5 - 480p24 / 360p60
iPhone 5C - A6 - 720p24 / 480p60
iPad Air - A7 - 1080p24 / 720p60
iPad Pro 9.7" - A9X - 1080p24 / 1080p60 (have not tried UHD)

VPX framework is compiled from libvpx with default ARM and NEON optimizations.
